About the role
This is a long-term role suitable for an experienced and motivated Dairy Farm Manager. An attractive salary package including a 3-bedroom house, super and additional benefits will be provided.
Located at Windy Hill near Ravenshoe, you will be working on a newly acquired farm that will be in the process of converting to Biodynamics, commencing with a small herd of 100 Jersey cows, which you will help grow to 200 cows by the end of 2027.
The roster 11 days on/3 days off – responsible for the herd management, calf raising, milking and production volumes, pasture management, AI and breeding programs, shed and milk hygiene, relief staff, machinery, fencing, pasture and tractor work.

Skills and Experience
Applicants would ideally have a minimum of 4-5 years Dairy farming experience in increasing herd health and milk production and be able to look after all aspects of the dairy herd including:
- Milking, dairy shed hygiene, herd health
- Calving and Calf rearing and livestock and dry cow management
- Stock movement and general farm duties
- Pasture Management
- Maintenance, Fencing, Sileage, AI
- Farm Management and Relief Staff
- Inventory and Consumables
- Assisting with planting winter and summer pastures
- Farm Planning, Budgets and Reports

As a picker/packer, you will be a vital member of the team, ensuring customers’ orders are packed and ready for delivery on time. The role will involve working with milk, yoghurt, cheese, and other cold goods, cold room and freezer environment work will be a significant part of your day, along with helping maintain the efficiency of warehouse operations. The role is for two days per week, Thursday and Friday 8.30 am to 5.30pm.
- Help with stock rotation in the warehouse using FIFO principles.
- Pick and pack orders in dry, cold, and freezer environments.
- Assist the warehouse team to ensure schedules and delivery runs are met.
- Maintain cold-chain integrity of stock.
- Accurate and fast picking/packing skills to ensure no errors.

Do you love our ice-cream, sales and providing great customer service. As the Ice-cream Sales & Delivery Representative you will be helping grow sales of our award-winning Lactose Free ice-creams in the Cairns, Townsville and Mackay regions.
This role has a high level of autonomy, whilst working closely with our Sales & distribution team. Cairns based with alternate weeks spent servicing Townsville and Mackay regions, accommodation and meal allowances provided. You will need an LR Truck License (or be willing to obtain one)
Key Responsibilities:
- Increasing sales of our award-winning ice-creams
- Maintaining great working relationship with our customers
- Packing/loading a small Eutetic LR Truck with your orders
- Merchandising our ice-cream, restocking and placing orders
- Weekly report to our Sales Manager.

We are looking for our next Ice-creamery Superstar. Do you have a bubbly friendly outgoing personality and a passion for excellence in customer service, food and coffee? We currently have shifts available in our busy ice-creamery in Cairns. Barista and Food Preparation and service skills would be well regarded as is a love of promoting our products, our biodynamic farming, and the local region.
The ideal applicant will have the following attributes: 1-2 years of hospitality experience preferred, a proactive approach to resolving and building solutions, experience in ordering and stock rotation systems advantageous, previous money handling experience, minimum barista skills ideal, have a long term vision to work with and develop yourself while contributing to a small team and local business, ideally be a local or looking to stay in Cairns long term.
Approx 13-18 hours per week shifts will be a mix of daytime and afternoon/evening. You must have your own transport, available for some weekend and weekday shifts.
We are looking for an experienced milker to help care for and milk our cows. Previous experience with milking and herd and calf care and the ability to do early morning and afternoon shifts is required. Located near Millaa Millaa, you will be working on our Bartle View farm which has a small herd of 90 Jersey cows. Two three-hour shifts per day am and pm approximately 30 hours per week. Mungalli Biodynamic Farm is seeking expressions of interest for a cook for our Farmhouse Café & Cheesery near Millaa Milaa.
Do you love to make wholesome cakes, pastries, cheesecakes, scones, soups and savoury dishes suitable for a Farmhouse café?
Working with our owners and Café team you will create delicious food and menu items for our customers. You will have excellent cooking, hygiene, costing, time management, ordering and stock control skills and be responsible for the output and costs of our kitchen area.
A current Food Safety Supervisors certificate although not essential would be well regarded. Hours are weekday, daytime and flexible min 3 days a week with additional hours available for the right person and in peak times.
