About the role
This is a long-term role suitable for an experienced and motivated Dairy Farm Manager. An attractive salary package including a 3-bedroom house, super and additional benefits will be provided.
Located at Windy Hill near Ravenshoe, you will be working on a newly acquired farm that will be in the process of converting to Biodynamics, commencing with a small herd of 100 Jersey cows, which you will help grow to 200 cows by the end of 2027.
The roster 11 days on/3 days off – responsible for the herd management, calf raising, milking and production volumes, pasture management, AI and breeding programs, shed and milk hygiene, relief staff, machinery, fencing, pasture and tractor work.

Skills and Experience
Applicants would ideally have a minimum of 4-5 years Dairy farming experience in increasing herd health and milk production and be able to look after all aspects of the dairy herd including:
- Milking, dairy shed hygiene, herd health
- Calving and Calf rearing and livestock and dry cow management
- Stock movement and general farm duties
- Pasture Management
- Maintenance, Fencing, Sileage, AI
- Farm Management and Relief Staff
- Inventory and Consumables
- Assisting with planting winter and summer pastures
- Farm Planning, Budgets and Reports

- High standard of workplace hygiene and follows WHS protocols

Ready to get your hands dirty? Love cows, dairying and all it brings?
BARTLE VIEW FARM – MILLAA MILLAA – 30hrs per week – Shifts Weekday 5-8am and 2.30-530pm milkings and every 2nd weekend. Prior milking experience, a love of cows, good shed hygiene, calf care and safe use of quad bike required.
WINDY HILL FARM – RAVENSHOE – 25hrs per week – Previous experience with milking, herd and calf care preferred. Approximately 25 hrs. per week and every 2nd weekend, mostly early morning shifts, weekends will be both shifts. Must be reliable and able to operate a quad bike safely, have good dairy hygiene and be available for weekdays and weekend rosters. Approximately 25 hrs. per week and every 2nd weekend. If you live locally are reliable, with good attention to detail and can work both independently and as part of a team apply now.

Mungalli Biodynamic Farm is seeking expressions of interest for a cook for our Farmhouse Café & Cheesery near Millaa Milaa.
Do you love to make wholesome cakes, pastries, cheesecakes, scones, soups and savoury dishes suitable for a Farmhouse café?
Working with our owners and Café team you will create delicious food and menu items for our customers. You will have excellent cooking, hygiene, costing, time management, ordering and stock control skills and be responsible for the output and costs of our kitchen area.
A current Food Safety Supervisors certificate although not essential would be well regarded. Hours are weekday, daytime and flexible min 3 days a week with additional hours available for the right person and in peak times.
